Competition Format

The annual inter-school golf match is a team event comprising four players who are past students of a member school and hold a current Golf Australia (GA) Handicap (limit 35).

The Daily handicap will be used to calculate the winners of the individual trophies, which will be contested by players with Daily handicaps of scratch to 18, and 19 plus. The Daily Handicap may be different to the GA Handicap and will be used for scoring against the card. In the event of a tie, normal count back procedures will be employed.

Team entries are submitted to the Secretary by each school representative.

It is an event in which all four stableford scores returned by members of each Old Girls’ Association are added together and the total represents the score for that school. The school with the highest aggregate score shall hold the cup for one year. Each member of the winning team shall receive a trophy.

Individual trophies are awarded in two divisions:

  • Daily Handicaps Scratch to 18.
  • Daily Handicaps 19 plus.

Trophies are also awarded for Nearest the Pin.

All players register at 7:30am and hit off around 8:00am. There is no afternoon field.

The competition is followed by lunch and presentations.

In the event of a tie, normal count back procedures will be employed.

The Committee will have full power to alter or vary the conditions of the program if they deem desirable.

The number of entrants from any school must be four.
