2026 Event
The 2026 Event was held on Monday 16th March at the Sorrento Golf Club, 18 Langford Rd, Sorrento, VIC, 3943.
Twenty eight teams of past students of member schools competed in an 18-hole stableford event. Four players from each school played in mixed groups with members from other schools. The weather was cool with misty rain falling most of the day but this didn’t upset the teams of golfers. The spirits were high and the joy was obvious, as the ladies relished the opportunity to once again represent their old alma mater on a wonderful golf course.
This year we had two worthy winners, with each team scoring 133 stableford points – Tintern and St Leonards College – their first win!
PLAYERS COMPETED FOR THEIR SCHOOL TEAM AND INDIVIDUAL TROPHIES WERE AWARDED IN TWO DIVISIONS:
1) Kitty McEwan Trophy for Daily Handicap of Scratch – 18 – won by Julie Martin from Korowa (Handicap of 12) – with 39 points
2) Nell Goff Trophy for Daily Handicap of 19 – 35 – won by Bronwyn Paul from St Leonard’s College (Handicap of 29) – with 39 points.
3) The President’s Trophy for Nearest the Pin on 15th – won by Chris Warton representing Sacre Coeur.
4) The Secretary’s Trophy for Nearest the Pin on 17th – won by Mel Thomas of Tintern.
This is primarily a charity event with an 8:30am shot gun start with lunch to follow.
Each year a team of helpers ran a produce stall with fresh products, cakes, jams, pickles etc. Representatives from all schools donated an abundance of products for the stall, which raises much needed money to support You Matter.
This wonderful organisation based in inner Melbourne, helps to support women and children impacted by family violence. It helps create safe havens by setting up and furnishing safe, welcoming homes, whether they are transitioning to long-term or temporary accommodation.
Through a fully equipped and comfortable home, women are empowered to re-establish stability, independence and connect to their community.
These services are delivered across metropolitan Melbourne.

The AGM for all the School Representatives will be held at Sorrento Golf Club on a date to be
confirmed but generally early in September, 2026.
