Clear blue skies and 30 degree temperatures blessed the twenty nine teams of past students of member schools, for the 95th running of the 18-hole stableford event “The Womens’ Inter-School Golf Challenge Cup for 2024. We welcomed Carey Grammar for their first time in the tournament. Four players from each school played in mixed groups with members from other schools and all enjoyed the company of their playing partners along with the lush green fairways – but not so much the super slick greens and bunkers.

Our team of helpers and school representatives ran a large produce stall with fresh products, biscuits, cakes, jams, pickles etc. This year’s stall sold an abundance of products and the monies raised will provided much needed support for McAuley Community Services for Women.

McAuley Community Services for Women is changing lives and tackling complex and connected problems. The charity supports women and children who have faced family violence and homelessness to take control of their lives.
