2023 Event

94th WOMEN’S INTER-SCHOOL GOLF CHALLENGE CUP

The 2023 Event was held on Monday 20th March 2023 at the Yarra Yarra Golf Club, 567 Warrigal Road, Bentleigh East, VIC 3165.

Yarra Yarra Golf Club

It was a windy but clear 21 degree day when twenty nine-thirty teams of past students of member schools competed in an 18-hole stableford event at Yarra Yarra. Four players from each school played in mixed groups with members from other schools. The greens were fast but that didn’t stop some exceptional scores by individual players.

This is primarily a charity event with an 8:30am shot gun start and lunch followed in the spacious Eaglemont Room upstairs.

A team of helpers ran a produce stall with fresh products, cakes, jams, pickles etc. The stall raises much needed money to support McAuley Community Services for Women. The event raised $1,160, the stall & raffle raised $2,363.20 and this year we donated a total of $3,523 to McAuley Community Services for Women.

McAuley Community Services for Women is changing lives and tackling complex and connected problems. The charity supports women and children who have faced family violence and homelessness to take control of their lives.
