The Kew Golf Club

It was a great day on Monday 16th April last. The weather stayed kind, we enjoyed a great lunch and good golf (I hope for most) with good company.

The results from our day can be accessed via the link below.

The Stall for ‘Cottage by the Sea’, run by Diana Carter and Cathy Ockleshaw and their many helpers raised $1,241, which was a great result. The raffle also did well with $634 raised. We are grateful to The Kew Golf Club and Lynlea Brumley (‘Passion in the Pantry’), for their generous donations for the raffle.

We are very pleased to be able to donated $4,500 to Cottage by the Sea this year. A wonderful result.  Thanks to all players for their support of our charity.

Well done to Genazzano, our winning team.  No doubt they will be back to defend next year at Sorrento. Commiserations to Mentone who were unable to field a team again this year much to their disappointment. Well done to our ‘A’ and ‘B’ winners as well. Scores were low again this year but all players hopefully enjoyed the beautiful course at Kew now that the course renovation are finalised.

The AGM for all Reps will be held at Sorrento Golf Club on Friday 14th September.

The next Challenge Cup will be held at Sorrento Golf Club on Monday 1st April 2019. This will be our 90th year since inception in 1929 and we will be planning for it to be an extremely enjoyable celebration of a great event.
