The 95th  annual golf day was held at The Yarra Yarra Golf Club on Monday 18th March 2024. The annual inter-school golf match is a team event comprising four female players who are past students of a member school and hold a current Golf Australia Handicap (limit 35).

2024 Events

The Annual Womens' Inter-School Golf Challenge Cup was held at The Yarra Yarra Golf Club on Monday 18th March 2024. The AGM will be held later in the year. Details to come.

The competition was developed to foster teamwork in Associate golf and to support a selected charity. The event has supported “The Cottage by The Sea” for many years now, with a stall held on the day and from any surplus over our costs. In 2019 we began to support the very worthy charity “McAuley Community Services for Women”.

Originally Old Collegians’ Associations were able to enter up to 15 players per school and the four best scores constituted the team but with 30 schools now competing, each school enters a team of four players.

The magnificent antique cup of solid silver, was made in London in 1827 in the reign of George IV and donated by Table Talk Magazine, when it was 102 years old. The cup has had some extra height incorporated into the plinth, to cater for many more years of winning team’s names being added.
